Sky & Sea

Sky, by day, hides handsome visage carefully.
Why?
So judgmental eyes will miss our dance.
Patient this Sea, whom, by night entranced;
expanse restless,
endures the sun's bright scrutiny.

What shall be, upon that hot glare's sinking?
Jubilee! -- With deep, silken dark comes horizon-wide reunion.
Fingertip galaxies and stars gild arching waves,
a sweet communion.
Foam and breezes intermingle:
lips meeting with ancient sighs.

Devotion of long eons whisper between them:
This, the passion of the Seas and Skies.
